Richard Smallwood album package

I shot this during the packaging shoot I did tonite for Richard Smallwood whose a huge gospel artist. One of the things that I really liked about the whole experience was how nice everybody was. The audience was dressed to the nines and people were just really friendly and sweet. It's a rare night that I can shoot in The Hammerstein Ballroom and feel like if I lost my wallet or my cell phone that I'd get it back. Or not worry about walking away from my gear with my laptop and lenses in my shooting bag and know that everything would be there when I got back to it. Here's to you Richard - God bless!

Stephen Holden was disapointed tht Neil Diamond-(NY Times Review and my photograph) - didn't do Song Sung Blue, I think he wanted to sing along. I know I did - so I like Neil Diamond, ok? You got a problem with that?

Well, I've uploaded Spinball into the film section. Please tell me what you think of it if you check out the flick.
I'm very curious to find out about Feeds and how they work and possibly adding some to my Blog. Seems to me the only real reason to have one of these is to disseminate information about things that interest you.

I know there are ealier posts but today's the day I really got the Blog going and connected it to my site, as well as updating my homepage to what it looks like at the moment. Am I just talking to myself when I write this? Maybe and I guess that's ok. Hey Rahav, wassup biatch!? Or is it Cosi nowadays?
Hey does anybody know how to get a movie you upload to your web server to show up when someone clicks on it? Also how do you make a quicktime movie smaller?

Kush Lounge shoot

I shot a bunch of interior pix of Kush Lounge at 191 Chrystie for my buddies Mark and Monique who own the place. Lemme say if you're looking for an awesome lounge with great food, drinks, vibe, music and Hookahs: GO HERE. I love this shot because I felt like I was shooting some kind of Vemeer still life by the time I was done. I might post some shots of this whole shoot here then again I might not.

Atlantic City DJ Expo

This is Nina in A.C. on Tuesday night. She's taking care of her 89 yr old mother.
Orig. Frm virg. I asked her how she feels about the fact that there aren't little coins jingling out of the machines anymore. "Well you don't get your hands dirty like you used to and the machine talks to u in other special ways". I noticed at that point that the slot machine she was playing was in fact making cute little chirping noises, ding ding sounds and bells that were both soothing and stimulating at the same time. I shot her because of her fabulous glasses, original Christian Diors she claimed from the 60's.

Here are the lads of Birdy NamNam. Amazing turntablists from France they do a bit with their Ortofon needles that involves playing individual notes rather than tracks and combining them together as if they were a band. Definitely worth checking out live.
