On location at Rob's studio. Brian O'Connor the a.d. & I decided on was to shoot the former X-Ecutioner as a mixologist/mad scientist on the decks. Spotlight echos the shape of turntable & disk. Shadow highlights the theme. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. An alter ego lurks in the background. 2nd magazine cover I've done of Rob.

DJ Boris. Cover shoot for Next Magazine at Crobar

DJ Boris who packs them in a Crobar every week was, as usual, great to work with. This shoot with came out of a brainstorming session with Next publisher Gregory T. Angelo and B's amazing publicist Emily Tan. Styling cudos to Chad Thompson who's better known to some as "The Man" at Olympus fashion week.

Elefant is finishing an amazing album. I shot them yesterday on the final day of mixing in NYC and did this portrait with them. They've been working with the legendary Andy Wallace who worked with Nirvana, among others.
